Meet Mo Love & Kiss

Welcome to From Within Mo

Where real stories meet raw emotions and where I finally let my thoughts take flight. If you're here, it means you're about to step into my mind, my world; unfiltered, personal, and full of perspectives that will make you think, laugh, and maybe even challenge your views.

So, Who Am I?

Michelle portrait

I'm Michelle Oritu, a Business Analyst by profession, a Nail Technician by passion, and a storyteller by God's given talent.

I enjoy deep conversations, thought provoking reflections, and the joy of documenting life as it unfolds. Oh, let me say this: I'm a queen, smart, intelligent, beautiful, and highly opinionated. I don't just have things to say; I have things that need to be said.

I started From Within Mo because, for the longest time, I felt like I had so much to express; opinions that could spark discussions, lessons that could inspire, and experiences that could resonate with others. I've always been someone who journals, writes, and processes life through words. There is no reason to keep it all private. Why not pin down my thoughts and let them fly into the world?

More Than Just a Blog

This is not just another lifestyle blog. It's personal and intimate, and honestly, I am unfiltered, unapologetic, and always real. Whether I'm reflecting on personal growth, sharing insights on relationships, exploring wellness, or diving into faith, entertainment, and life in general, this space is all about truth and connection.

FYI, this is not my first blog. I had one during my Master's program (shoutout to that assignment that birthed something great!), but I let it go for a while. Then came 2025, my year of awakening — a year of intentionality, personal development, and taking action. It was a turning point in my life, and it's what led me to fully embrace my storytelling, voice, and mission to share, connect, and empower.

Let's connect!

A Little Bit of Me

Hey there! Since you're already here, I might as well let you in on a few things about me; just a little peek behind the curtain.

I'm the third of four kids, two amazing big sisters and one younger brother who keeps us all on our toes. I studied at Osun State University (go UNIOSUN!), then packed my bags for Ireland, where I did my Master's at Griffith College.

Workwise? I've done a bit of everything. I was once an OAP at Petals FM in Ibadan, then moved on to Plus TV Africa, where I worked as an assistant transmission director and co-hosted a show called Tea Time. I've worked in healthcare, and now I'm thriving as a Business Analyst in the insurance industry. I also have my hands in other fun things, like being a nail tech (yes, I make nails!), and now, drumroll, please, I am officially stepping into the blogging world!

I love yoga; not just for the calmness but also for that "sweet pain" from deep stretches. Meditation clears my head, and honestly? I'm pretty proud of how flexible I've become.

Now, let's talk about plantain. If you ever wanted to kidnap me, just show up with perfectly fried plantain, and I'm yours no questions asked lol. If my future husband doesn't propose with a plate of plantain next to the ring… we may need to rethink things.

I'm endlessly curious. I live on Google, ChatGPT (hi, bestie), and YouTube. I'm always asking questions, learning, reading books, and taking random courses on Udemy to feed this never-ending hunger to know more.

Also, I love wigs. Love might even be an understatement. If not for the wigs I've bought, I'd be cruising in a Lamborghini. But hey, priorities.

Faith wise, I'm a Christian and cherish the relationship I'm building with God. I'm constantly working on being more intentional about growing spiritually, knowing Him deeper, and doing my part to share the good news of the gospel.

And finally… I'm a happy soul. I talk a lot, laugh a lot, and just try to live fully and authentically, whether in a meeting, on a yoga mat, behind a camera, or in a mid-deep convo over tea.
